Student council’s canned food drive ends Thursday with students having one last chance to bring items to their math class. The drive which began Nov. 4 will donated all non-perishable items to Frisco Family Services.

“Everything we collect goes straight to frisco family food services and will help families in need,” student council member, junior Zoey Clark. “A lot of kids have been bringing in cans to their math classes which is super helpful.”

This year’s drive comes with an extra incentive beyond giving to those in need.

“The class with the most donations gets a cookie party,” student council member, senior Tristian Maravilla said. “We have seen success because it’s an overall easy way to donate. We have been planning and advertising the event for a while now, and every student at Liberty has had a chance to donate.”
