At 3:27 p.m. on Friday afternoon, Frisco ISD Director of Communications Jamie Driskill sent out the following email to school administrators at all campuses:

“Good afternoon.  Frisco ISD has been monitoring the National Weather Service site to stay abreast of the potential for severe weather this evening. Out of an abundance of caution, the District has decided to cancel all after school activities. This does not include after school programs such as Alphabest, YMCA, etc. As always, the safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority.”

Varsity basketball games have been postponed to Saturday, with varsity soccer games moved to Monday.
