Dancing away stress was the name of the game Friday during advisory as Student Council hosted its first Just Dance event with students dancing along to the popular video game.

“I think it was a massive stress reliever,” sophomore Ford Shippy said. “I came in here busy with my schedule a ton of stuff going on in my life, and I just came and I danced and it was amazing.”

Student council member Tyler Brown hopes to host more dance events in the future as dozens of students turned out.

“I think it will be beneficial for the future, because it’s easy to set up and take down, and I think it’s fun for everyone,” Brown said. “You know, I was kind of having a bad day and I was like ‘Oh I get to dance in the gym” and then I kinda just forget about my life for a second and then I’m having fun.”
