A four day weekend for students in Frisco ISD gave the soccer teams something an extended rest as neither the girls’ team or boys’ team played on Friday.

The Redhawks are back in action on Tuesday as they take on Wakeland

“I think the Tuesday game will be a very good game for us,” junior Kallin Brown said. “We just need to take shots on goal.”

While the girls load up and travel to Wakeland, the boys play at the Nest at 7.

For boys’ head coach Fred Kaiser, the four day weekend was a good thing for the players.

“I’m glad we had a four day weekend it gives the boys a chance to rest their legs,” Kaiser said. “Most professionals only play one game a week and we are playing two games a week so it’s nice to have a break.”
