Riding a modest two game winning streak, the boys’ soccer team won its third straight game on Friday, beating the Lebanon Trail Blazers 2-1.

“The game was really intense,” senior Ara Gevorgyan said. “We did well in the attacking third, but need to improve on communication and continuing to be aggressive throughout the whole game.”

It was a different story for the girls, as they fell to the Trail Blazers 6-1.

“I feel like we played well and we all worked as a team, however Lebanon is one of the best teams in the state,” junior Thais Fernández said. “I believed we tried our hardest and it resulted in defeat. We just  need to work on finishing from the outside, as well as everyone pushing up together. From this game, I learned to never give up, so that’s how I’ll be playing the rest of the games to keep on going no matter what.”
