The Redhawks tennis team returned to the courts for only their second time this season last Friday for a District 9-5A match and came out with an 11-8 loss against Heritage High School.

Tennis coach Erica Dopson feels her team could most improve on their consistency based off of their skills shown from the last match.

We will be working on consistency drills,” Dopson said. “We are playing the number two team in the state [next]. We will need to be consistent and stay focused.”

Though the Redhawks took a loss at their last match, they plan to put up a fight at their next match against the #2 team in the state, Lebannon Trail High School.

“Our biggest strengths are the determination and fight,” Dopson said. “We feel like fighting on this next match.”
