The new senior class website contains numerous resources for the senior class. Included are the dates for upcoming senior events and links to purchase Liberty attire. It also has the Remind code for seniors, as well as information on senior ads for the yearbook.

From class t-shirts to information on upcoming senior events, the PTSA senior website holds all the resources needed for class of 2021.

“We wanted to have one central location where seniors and parents could go to find everything they need to know about senior year,” PTSA 2021 Senior Committee Co-Chair LuAnn Glatch said. “From there, seniors and parents can see all of the events we have planned, register for the events they wish to attend, and purchase spirit wear and themed shirts to wear to the specific events. They can even purchase a Senior 2021 Face Mask! We have a lot of fun, new events planned for this year including a bonfire, boots and bbq dance and casino night!”

The website got a completely new update, which PTSA 2021 Senior Committee Co-Chair Wendy Lawton created to get the class of 2021 excited for their senior year.

“Last year when I was helping the senior committee chairman, Jennifer Williams, I realized I wanted them to have a fabulous senior year,” Lawton said. “And I kept thinking how I was going to do that with that old website? How am I going to advertise their senior year? It was a free basic website, and I felt like it was time for an upgrade. And because I was invested in the senior committee I was really intent on getting my way.”

Lawton added interactive components to facilitate the usage of the website and promote the senior events.

“You can click on the image of the event and go to the page for that event,” Lawton said. “And once we get all the events and all the details and all that set up, you’re going to be able to go to that page and see where you’re going to have the event, all the information about it, what we’re doing, who the DJ is, maybe even request input a playlist to request, if you have favorite songs you want to get played, all that kind of stuff. So that’s kind of what my idea of it is. So hopefully, it’ll all work out.”

Seniors like Caroline Moore appreciate the simple access to all the class information.

“I think the senior website is a really good idea because I think it’s nice to have one place where all the activities are listed especially with COVID and everything going on,” Moore said. “And everything being canceled, it’s nice to have one place where all the activities we can do are listed.”
