NHS volunteers at Comstock Science Night

NHS members volunteered at Comstock Elementary School‘s Science Night on Thursday to help manage interactive exhibits for younger students to learn about science.
Science Night brought together teachers, students, parents, and volunteers to experience exhibits displaying scientific principles.
Working with their communities, students were awarded with the President’s Volunteer Service Award on Monday night for those that have been proactive in their community.

Elementary students learned a variety of ideas at Science Night.
Comstock teachers showed students how to communicate with younger students.
The Comstock faculty showed their appreciation for the NHS volunteers.
Elementary students were able to stand inside a large bubble with help from NHS students.
Volunteers were able to work one-on-one with kids to get them excited about science.
Parents of Comstock students were able to accompany their students on this educational experience.
