The football team travels to Toyota Stadium to take on Memorial High School Friday night. The team is coming off back to back wins and is hoping to get a third straight which would triple their wins from last year.

“A lot of our practices have been coach Swinnea hyping us up and getting us really motivated,” senior Connor Hulstein said.

Head coach Matt Swinnea wants to focus on the game from the start.

We have put an emphasis on winning the first series of each half,“ Swinnea said. “Both offensively and defensively. We want to put the pressure on our opponent.”

Players like Sam Wennas agree with wanting to start strong in the first half.

“We are known for being a second half football team,” Wennas said. “So our goal is to do our jobs in the first half and start fast.”
