Spring Dual Credit registration opens Tuesday and closes on the payment deadline on Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. Prior to registration, students must fill out a permission form by 4 p.m on Nov. 20.

The form has to be filled out digitally, and in order to do so, students must be logged into their school district email account. Students should use their school account as well when completing registration.

Those already in a Dual Credit class right now should register as a “Returning Dual Credit Student,” according to the district site.

The district site also notes that when filling out the form, the dropdown menu of courses is not the entire list. If a student doesn’t find the next course they are to take in the list, they should select “Not Listed”, and then add the correct course in the blank provided below the menu.

“We intentionally did not put everything in the dropdown menu, to prevent students registering for incorrect courses on accident,” the district site said. “Do not register for the same, exact course you are taking right now. You need the next class in the progression of courses. If you are unsure of your next class, please ask your [Dual Credit College & Career Counselor].”

If students have any questions regarding Dual Credit registration, they can contact FISD Dual Credit Academic Advisor Stephanie Sellers.
