Temperatures will be chilly Tuesday night, but the Redhawks soccer teams are hoping to heat up the pitch as they face off against the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers.

In the girls’ game, both the Redhawks and the Trailblazers sit 0-2 in District 9-5A play with each team eager for a win as they are set to kick off at Lebanon Trail starting at 5:00 p.m.

“We had a really good game last Friday although we fell short,” senior Wesley Noon said. “We are hoping to move the ball and have the same build ups this game as we did last. However this game we want to take more shots on goal.”

On the boys side, both teams also have identical District 9-5A records at 1-1-0, with the Redhawks hoping to earn another three points when they take the field at The Nest at 7:00 p.m.

“Our team played very well these past two district games,” senior Johnathon Siv. “Considering that preseason competition was not very good.”
