Friday and Saturday the Redhawk golf teams are back in action with their first spring tournament of the year held at Champions Circle Golf Course

Practicing throughout the week in preparation, senior Lizzy Stone and her teammates are entering the tournament with a target in sight.

“Our goal is for everyone to shoot under 85,” Stone said. “In practice we’ve been working really hard on short games this week and playing more strategically.”

On the boys’ side, the Redhawks are hoping to use this opportunity as extra practice ahead of districts.

“Our team goal this weekend is to win, play smart with the conditions we will have, and have fun,” sophomore Mitchelle Kalka said. “Also, these tournaments will prepare us for districts and we have been practicing really hard.”
