The Redhawks gear up to tackle Frisco on Friday looking to improve their respective district scores. For the boys however, this game will make or break their undefeated title.

The Redhawks soccer teams kicked off the second round of District 9-5A play Friday night against Memorial High School.

“We are really hoping to continue this round being better then we were last,” junior Jada Williams said.

Ending the night with a 1-1 tie, at home, the Redhawks are satisfied.

“The team played really good and put up a good fight,” Williams said. “Obviously we would have liked a win but we lost to them last time, so a tie is a step in the right direction.”

On the boys side the team was unable to out score the Warriors as they fell short 3-1.

“On Friday we didn’t do anything really good,” junior Evan Moros said. “We are trying to do better on communication while passing and taking better touches.”
