Playing three games four days, the Redhawks soccer teams ended their week with mixed results to Frisco High School in District 9-5A play.

Hosting the Raccoons, the girls’ team fell short, losing 3-2.

“The game’s intensity was great,” senior Paige Ripberger said. “Everyone gave 110 percent. We had some really good build ups leading to some great goals, we just got unlucky on some of their shots.”

Traveling down the street to face off against the Raccoons, the boys’ team earned a point with the 0-0 draw.

“We defended very well,” senior Jonathan Siv said. “We were able to keep them out of our net. We just need to string together a couple more passed up top to get some in the back of their net.”
