The baseball team had a busy week, as they took on ten teams across the Dallas Fort Worth area. Winning six of those games, and winning a tournament, the team hopes it will help prepare them for district play.

The Redhawk baseball team was resting from school, but not from the plate over spring break as the team competed in ten games, winning six and taking first place in one tournament.

We had some highs and lows during these last 10 games, just like we will have during the season,” head coach Scott McGarrh said.  “This will help prepare us to better handle those situations during district play.”

With District 9-5A play just having begun, the team was able to see what they needed to work on for the rest of the season.

“We also play very tough competition so we are ready for district play,”  McGarr said. “We need to clean some stuff up with situational defense, picks, bunt coverages, cuts and relays.”
