The Redhawks offense was hitting all on cylinders Tuesday night, well at least junior Lawson Towne was. Hitting for the cycle (a single, double, triple, and home run) Towne powered the team to a 8-3 win over the Centennial Titans.

“I was obviously pretty excited because you know that doesn’t really happen that often and it was my first one ever,” Towne said. “It’s probably going to be the only one I ever hit. I was really excited and I was obviously really excited because we got the win, that was a plus.”

Tuesday’s win gives the Redhawks a 2-1 record in District 9-5A.

“We are just hoping to keep this moment going for our next game and the rest of our season,” senior Chandler Benson said. The team travels to Heritage High School on Friday with first pitch coming at 7:00 p.m.
