The wrestling team was back on the mat Wednesday night, with the Redhawks winning both duels against The Colony and Independence High School.

“We did well at maintaining a positive energy throughout the duals despite a rough start which ultimately led to us winning both dual,” senior Chris Fegueroa said. “We also did well at wrestling aggressively and with a purpose.”

With multiple practices before the team next’s match on Saturday, the next match the team is hoping to keep the energy up.

“The team and myself need to work on wrestling with the same intensity in practice as in a match,” Fegueroa said. “This will allow us to translate what we practice on daily directly into the match setting.”

Top finishers were Mitchell Borynack and Michael Breslav both taking 2 wins.
