Currently sitting atop the District 9-5A standings, the Redhawks baseball team hits the road as it looks to hold its spot against the seventh place Independence Knights Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

“We have been focusing on not playing down to our competition and putting teams away early,” senior Blake Young said. “We do that by going hard every day in practice and locked in on every opponent.”

With this being the team’s third game in five days, the team is hoping to keep the energy up.

”Winning is definitely a motivation,” Young said. “But our energy and team chemistry is what keeps us going.”
