Rallying together, softball kicked off their season Tuesday with their first game. Looking to improve this year after finishing 0-18 last season, the team looked at this first game as a way to gage the difficulty of their season.

The Redhawks attempt to tame the Reedy Lions in a District 9-5A softball game at 7:15 p.m.  Friday at Reedy High School.

With only two games left for the team this year, sophomore Emily Aronson has noticed a trend with the team.

“This past season has really shown me that we play the best when we play together,” Emily Aronson said.

The team hopes to see a closer game than the first time they played the Lions this season when the Redhawks fell 16-1.

“If we keep working in practice, we should be ready for the upcoming game,” Aronson said.
