The Redhawks softball team wrapped up their season Tuesday with a 23-3 loss to the Lone Star Rangers in District 9-5A play.

The team set goals for themselves this season which they feel they were able to accomplish despite not winning a district game.

“Our goals this season were to compete and come out strong every chance we got and we have done pretty well with that,” head coach Jill Bradshaw said.

For senior Karina Otrhalek, this past year has shown her that the team has what it takes to stay in the game.

“This whole season we managed to stay mentally strong which I think is one of our biggest strengths,” Otrhalek said.
