With the winter break ending and the second semester starting, some students on campus have received new schedules due to single semester courses, dropping classes, and other changes.

Being the last week of the school year, this week’s schedule is looking different than others. Both Thursday and Friday are set to give students throughout the district a greater opportunity to attend graduations, which will begin Thursday night.

Assistant principal Stacey Whaling explains how this will look for students on campus.

“The last couple of days during the last week of school are the way they are because of graduations, which start Thursday afternoon and go through Friday,” she said. “That’s why Thursday is a half day, where students will attend class up until second period, and Friday is asynchronous. [The workload students are to expect] will be posted, and once the work is completed, students will get credit for attendance.”
