The Redhawks take it to the court Friday for a District 9-5A volleyball game. The Redhawks look to lay their losing streak to rest and bring home a win.

After a 3-1 loss to the Heritage Coyotes in a District 9-5A match on Tuesday, the Redhawks are back on the court Friday at 5:45 p.m. to host the Lebanon Trail Trailblazers in another district contest.

For sophomore MJ McCurdy, the loss earlier this week has pushed the team to fight even harder during Friday’s match.

“We really want to just give it our all and just come together and win in our upcoming game,” McCurdy said.

To prepare for the game, the Redhawks have directed their practice time towards running the offense, as well as serving.

“Right now, we are working on the tempo of our offense,” volleyball coach Clark Oberle said. “We are trying to run our offense a little bit harder and we are continuing to improve our defense. A lot of our focus has been put on our serving game as well.”
