Redhawk tennis looks to wipe Wilson of win

The Redhawks did not have to travel too far for the second round of playoffs on Thursday as they host Dallas Willson. The team is fairly confident in their ability to pull out a win which would allow them to move on to the following round.

The Redhawk tennis team enters the second round of the UIL 5A region 2 team tennis playoffs Thursday afternoon as they host Dallas Willson at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The Redahwks are ranked number 7 in the state and are coming off of a 10-2 win over Rockhill on friday.

Out of only four Frisco ISD district teams to advance to the second round, the Redhawks are one of them.

We are confident and focused on a winning mindset for the match today,” coach Erica Dopson said via email.
