The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees is holding a special meeting tonight at the district administration building to discuss next year’s rezoning.

Scheduled to start at 5:30, the meeting is a chance for citizen input on the district’s proposed attendance zones for the 2022-2023 school year as Panther Creek high school is set to open in August, as well as Minett elementary school.

Both schools are currently under construction near the new PGA headquarters in northwest Frisco.

The opening of these schools is leading to shifts in attendance zones with the preliminary drafts of these zones released on October 12.

Liberty is not expected to be impacted by these new attendance zones but Frisco, Lone Star, Memorial, Reedy, and Wakeland are likely to see shifts in their attendance zones according to Frisco ISD.
