The deadline for citizens to take part in early voting for the Nov. 2 election is Friday.

The two week window for early voting began back on Oct. 18 and after Friday, voters will only be able to vote in person at their designated polling place.

However, people choosing to vote early can vote anywhere.

The Nov. 2 election is a state constitutional amendment election with voters having the opportunity to make changes to the constitution regarding religious services, eligibility requirements for judges, and six other proposed amendments.

All of the items on the ballot were passed as bills during this year’s legislative sessions, but a majority of voters in the state must approve each amendment before it can be added to the state constitution.

For more information, The Texas Tribune has a comprehensive write up of each amendment and those in support of it and those against it.
