Each year, students in grades k-12 submit works of art to be entered into the PTSA Reflection competition.

The competition aims to help students explore their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through art. This year’s theme is “I will change the world by…”. Submissions are due Friday, Nov. 5.

“The Reflections program is a national program started by the PTA 50 years ago,” PTSA Reflections Chair member Becca Raymond said. “You can enter in 6 different categories: dance choreography, film production, music composition, photography, visual arts, and literature.”

There are some requirements to be able to enter into the competition.

To be able to enter the competition you must be a PTSA member yourself, or have a parent that is a PTSA member,” Raymond said. “It would be great to get as many submissions as possible and have some awesome Redhawk representation at the district level and at the state and national level as well.”
