The Texas Education Agency has released a new set of guidelines that suggests new protocols involving parent and trustee involvement in the evaluation of what books are appropriate for public school libraries.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees is set to have their regular monthly meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the administration building.

As sophomores and juniors took the PSAT last month, the board will be recognizing seniors who met the requirement for being a semifinalist in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Similarly to last meeting, new attendance zone modifications for the 2022-23 school year for high school #12, Panther Creek, will be presented based on the feedback given during the special board meeting in October.

The board will also continue to discuss plans on Frisco ISD’s new online school, FISD+, and will be acting on approval to seek a waiver from the Texas Education Agency to gain funding for the school.
