The Frisco Education Foundation Scholarship Program has been offering scholarships to graduating Frisco ISD seniors since 1999 and this year is no different with the application opening Monday at 10 a.m.

This scholarship application is for over 990 scholarships from all high schools and around the area. The scholarships range from $500 to $26,000 with students having the opportunity with earning more than one scholarship.

The scholarships are based on a variety of factors such as merit, community service, college major, college attending, and financial need.

Students will have to provide a list of extracurricular activities, volunteer hours, work history, financial information, two teacher recommendations, one community recommendation, and an essay question. The application also includes several optional essays.

The application is due on December 17 at 4 p.m. For more information, check out the Frisco Education Foundation website here.
