Both Redhawk soccer teams were able to score two goals and win against the Lebanon Trail Blazers in District 9-5A matchups on Tuesday.

Kicking off at The Nest, the girls’ team was able to beat the Trail Blazers 2-0, improving their record to 3-1 in District 9-5A.

“I think the team played very well against Lebanon Trail,” sophomore Samantha Skolnick said via text. “We knew they were going to come out strong so we had to play quick and aggressive against them. I think our team has very strong defense and speed. We play as a team and work well together every game.”

The boys’ team also earned a win when they beat the Trail Blazers 2-0, continuing their undefeated 3-0 record in District 9-5A.

“We’re looking to improve off our set pieces,” senior Ashton Schramek said. “That’s always been a strength but it’s always good to have that in our back pocket because we are always really good at that.”
