2022 fall musical in sight during theatre reveal party Thursday

Since the debut of Bright Star back in December, theatre teachers Heather Willingham and Laura Darce have been planning a reveal party to announce the next play for fall of 2022.
“We decided to create a reveal party because we’re past this year’s musical and it’s a little bit of a stretch until next fall so we want people to stay excited and be a part of our program,” Darce said. “Anybody can come to the reveal party, we just want people to get excited and see some opportunities and start preparing for next year. I’m looking forward to seeing the look on peoples faces when they know what we’ve chosen, because I don’t think they are going to expect it.”
During the reveal, theatre students will be given more opportunities to be involved in the program.
“This is a great opportunity for students to earn ITS points if they are apart of the National Thespian Club Society and it’s also a great way for them to get hands on experience on a musical which is always so much fun and there’s a large production and we can always get some helping hands for tech and some great actors for the actual show, and just on the set.”
The reveal will take place tomorrow during advisory in the auditorium.
