Swinging into the Rockwell Tournament, the Redhawks tennis team was the team to beat, with six singles/doubles placing in the top three.

“The team did great,” head coach Erica Dopson said. “We won many trophies. This tournament gave us a great warm up tournament for this season. We see lots of strengths and ways to improve for the future weeks.”

Among the Redhawks who fared well, junior Milla Dopson, placed first in the mixed doubles with junior Sanjheev Rao.

“Overall I feel like me and my partner played really well,” Milla said. “Some of my teammates had some good results as well, so I am very happy with how we did. Every tennis match comes with challenges. No matter how easy an opponent could be, you still have to remind yourself to remain calm and stay focused to win the match.”
