The Board of Trustees updated Board Operating Procedures to include Community Input Meetings which are designed for stakeholders to provide constructive criticism and/or input and also to ask questions on any issue related to Frisco ISD. The first of these meetings takes place Monday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Administration Building.

According to Board President René Archambault, it is crucial that the community have more access to the Board, and the Community Input Meeting is the best way to do this.

“Our community is engaged and we have noticed a need by the community to be able to have more access to the Board and I love the idea of the Community Input Meeting,” Archambault said. “We want to be open and able to receive information that is important to stakeholders.”

If one wants to speak during one of these meetings, they must fill out a Public Comment Card at least 15 minutes before the meeting begins, allowing them to be called up to the podium to speak to the district leaders on the matter for the two allotted minutes.

Questions and answers brought up during the meetings will be posted on the Community Input Meeting webpage. For more information, visit the Frisco ISD website.
