Traveling to Reedy Friday night, the Redhawks softball team is looking to come back strong after losing to Wakeland on Tuesday.

“It’s gonna be a great competition for us and it’s gonna be a challenge for us,” head coach Jill Bradshaw said. “They’re one of the top higher ranked teams, but I feel as long as we can come and get our bats going and tie our hits together we will be successful.”

Sitting in 4th place in District 9-5A, the Reedy Lions are expected to be tough competition according to freshman Adeline Glatch.

“I think that it will be a big challenge, but if we work together and put everything out on the field then we can do our best to conquer,” Glatch said. “We just hit and we worked hitting faster pitches today because this pitcher will be having a lot of speed.”
