The Redhawks baseball team looks to win its second straight District 9-5A game on Tuesday when the team welcomes the Reedy Lions to The Nest with first pitch coming at 5:30 p.m.

The team refuses to drop a series, as they climbed to a 3-0 victory over the Wakeland Wolverines on Thursday at Wakeland

With that win, the Redhawks’ district record is set at 9-4, reclaiming their second place position in the district race.

“The biggest motivation for the team to finish this season strong is the fact that we have something to prove,” senior, OF Jeremy Hussey said via text. “We need to prove that we have not taken a step back after losing our seniors from last year, and that we are in fact a better team than last year.”

The Redhawks hope to build off Thursday’s win against the Wolverines by  staying within themselves

“Once again, the focus is centered on playing as a team,” senior, OF Yeshas Nash said. “We need to get on base however we can and limit mistakes in the field.”
