Boys’ golf had a strong showing at the Prowl Fall Preview on Thursday with the team finishing in first place and top finishes from three Redhawks: junior Anuj Sinha (T-1st), sophomore Brody Batjer (3rd), and junior Kaden Crocetti (4th).

“The boys played well and we are proud of their result,” head coach Shannon Glidwell said. “We are going to continue to focus on our short game and spend more time with putting and recovery play. We made too many mistakes and need to clean those up.”

Practice fall competition series preparing the team for tournaments could have been key to the team’s success on Thursday.

“Two weeks ago we started a fall competition series between the team to simulate tournament pressure for the next couple tournaments,” junior Anuj Sinha said. “We took first place as a team and I took individual second.”
