After months of hearing about it, hundreds of television commercials, countless polls, and endless opinions, the time has finally come for people to begin casting their ballots as early voting begins Monday.

For two weeks, registered voters can get a head start on placing their votes in local, state, and national elections from Monday until Nov. 4.

With more than a dozen contests on the ballot, knowing when you are going to vote and where is a good thing to know according to AP Government teacher Amanda Peters.

“Have a plan. know what you’re going to do. Are you going to early vote, or are you going to go up the day of the actual election,” Peters said in a previous interview with Wingspan. “If you’re voting early, you have more flexibility for where your going to vote than the day of the election where you have to go to where your precinct is and it says on your voter registration card.”
