Carter Blood Care is holding blood drives at the Career and Technical Education Center Training Room Wednesday and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“We are having a drive to allow students to donate and help save a life,” Frisco ISD lead nurse Denise Wharton said. “It is important to donate if you can because one donation can save up to three lives. It is good to give back.”

Students 16 and up are eligible to donate with a signed permission form from a parent or guardian.

“I appreciate the fact that the blood drive is at the CTE,” Lebanon Trail senior Vasudha Thittai said. “I think it’s important to donate, but sometimes it can be hard to find ways to. This way is a lot easier for students participate with.”
