Canadian rapper Drake joined forces with 21 Savage to make Her Loss. The collaborative rap album was a great project which depicted Drake and Savage’s relationship.

Featuring 16 tracks, the album displays many highlights. The song, “Hours In Silence” with the great production mixed with the well-written lyrics reigns at the top of the best songs on the album. Savage and Drake compliment each others’ vocal skills perfectly throughout the album.

There are a couple of songs where it’s just one or the other singing the song, such as “Middle of the Ocean,” which Drake rapped on. The sampling, such as the one on this song, works well with the type of production within this album.

Other notable songs include: “Rich Flex,” “On BS,” and “Spin Bout U.”

There were other songs featured on this album that didn’t reach its full potential such as “More M’s” which displays a beat that sounds boring, to say the least. Others, like “3AM on Glenwood” were on the fence in becoming a decent song, however they never fully crossed that line.

This album gets a 7.6/10 for the way both 21 Savage and Drake’s individual music styles work well with one another.
