SZA’s latest album, SOS, has been receiving rave reviews since its release. The R&B singer’s highly anticipated third studio album includes a mix of soulful ballads and upbeat tracks, showcasing her unique and captivating vocals.

Some standout tracks from the album are “Kill Bill” and “Good Days,” which finds SZA reflecting on the struggles of the past year and seeking hope for the future. The upbeat, soulful production and uplifting lyrics make it a standout track on the album.

Another highlight is “Used (feat. Don Toliver),” which features a guest verse from Don Toliver and a smooth, retro-inspired production. SZA’s vocals shine on this track, as she sings about the complexities of a relationship and the struggles to keep the spark alive.

However, not every track on the album reaches the same heights. “Far” is a bit of a slow burn, with a more subdued production and lyrics that don’t quite pack the same emotional punch as some of the other tracks on the album.

Overall, SOS is a solid addition to SZA’s discography and showcases her growth as an artist. The album’s highlights are well worth a listen, but some of the more middle-of-the-road tracks may not stick as strongly in the memory. However, the project as a whole doesn’t disappoint, and I give it an 8.5/10.
