With a few more advisories left in the school year, Student Council has been planning events for the following weeks with gaga ball scheduled for Tuesday.

“We had a really great turnout from our first gaga ball event as it was something that everybody really liked, so we’re doing it again because we’re almost at the end of the year,” StuCo vice president, senior Harley Classe said. “After each event, we always debrief and go over the pros and cons, such as what went well and what didn’t, so this one should be even better than the last one.”

Student Council president Anna Lyon is hopeful gaga ball will bring in the same amount of attraction and energy as UNO.

“I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces and hopefully some new faces of people who didn’t go last time to gaga ball,” Lyon said. “Although we did host gaga ball a while back, I do hope that there is a big group of people, as well as new people, that show up for advisory as well.”

By starting off the last few weeks with one of the more popular activities from the past, Student Council hopes to continue to finish the school year strong with the past, most liked advisory events.

“Now that we know a general idea of who’s going to be coming back to the Student Council events and things like that, it’s less about trying new things and more about looking at what works,” StuCo member, senior Andrew Jauregui said. “We want to spend the rest of the year just with a few more home runs as we’re trying to end strong with these last advisory events.”
