The Redhawks softball team (4-3) faces their biggest challenge of the season, hunting for redemption against the undefeated Heritage Coyotes on Friday at 6:30 p.m. as they look to continue their winning streak.

The last time these two teams faced each other, it ended in the biggest loss of the Redhawks’ season. Despite the odds, the players are determined to show that lightning doesn’t always strike twice.

“[Losing to Heritage before] motivates us to keep working harder to prevent games like [that] from happening again,” sophomore Francesa Duran said.

Senior Lixangely Martinez Lozada agrees, maintaining that self-esteem will be the key to getting a win.

“[We] need to believe in [ourselves],” Martinez Lozada said.
