Students can “dance through the decades” at the 2023 Homecoming dance with tickets now available for purchase. Students can purchase their tickets before the door for $25 on Online Schoo Fees.

With the homecoming dance quickly approaching, tickets are now available through Online School Fees for $25, or at the door on homecoming night for $30. Featuring the theme, ‘Dancing Through the Decades’, the dance is scheduled for Sept. 23 from 7-10 p.m.

Each day of homecoming week will be a spirit day organized by the Student Council in which students can dress up according to different decades with decorations at the dance giving vibes of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

“There is a ton of planning that goes into not only the dance but also the days leading up to the dance,” Student Council president, senior Haley Ward said. “We started planning for this year’s homecoming dance last school year, so we had the theme picked out months ago.”

Beyond dancing, HoCo attendees can also take pictures at different photo ops, or play large-sized games nearby.

Student Council is fully immersed in the preparations for homecoming season, with planning starting months in advance, they are now focusing on the finer details to ensure a flawless homecoming week.

“Homecoming season is definitely our busiest season in Student Council,” Ward said. “We worked over the summer on our ideas for the dance, so now it’s just the small details that we are working on to perfect everything for homecoming week!”
