Soccer hopes to get out of their winning drought Tuesday as the teams take on the Memorial Warriors. This will be the second time the teams face off this season, with both Redhawks teams originally losing the first time around.
“Memorial is very good at set pieces [and] they’re very good at winning balls in the air, and we were lacking in that last time,” assistant boys’ coach Kyle Parks said. “We’ve worked on that a lot, so hopefully, that amount of gain we’ve made we get the edge we need.”
Struggling with capitalizing on goal scoring opportunities, the girls are still searching for their first win.
“We’ve been playing a lot of games and a lot of shooting in working on possession,” sophomore Caitlyn Rubback said. “I hope that we can keep a lot of possession during the game and hopefully score a goal.”
