Tennis takes on Lebanon Trail Thursday in a tournament match up away. “We want to work together as a team and communicate better,” junior Anya Krishna said.

It’s every tennis player for themselves as Redhawks tennis takes on the competition during their tournament at Lebanon Trail Thursday.

“We are looking forward to another great tournament,” assistant coach Neil Grobler said. “Coming off of arguably our toughest competition of the year, last Friday’s Reedy tournament, has readied our players to compete in tough matches. We are eager to get back on court and make some noise in the LT tournament.”

For girls’ doubles player, junior Anya Krishna, the tournament season is more about letting loose than anything else.

“We want to work together as a team and communicate better,” Krishna said. “With my doubles partner, it’s just about having fun and keeping the competition alive. I don’t fixate on the competition all the time.”
