The Redhawks tennis team is wrapping up their spring season as the 2023-2024 school year winds down. Before the regional tournament on May 8, the Redhawks will make an appearance at the district tournament this Thursday.
This tournament will push athletes to their limits, bringing about mental challenges for some players, such as sophomore Vivienne Haggard.
“Maintaining a clear and focused mind is always challenging during tournaments like these when you’re battling a lot of heat and intense competition,” Haggard said.
Head tennis coach William Davis and assistant tennis coach Neil Grobler could not be reached for comment.
