Football season kicks off tonight and to get things started, the first annual pep rally is today during advisory.

Taking place in the main gym, there will be a tropical themed pep rally featuring fine arts, and athletics teams with Student Council welcoming students into the school year 

“[There are] different ideas like say aloha to football season and we have like lays to give out on friday and a bunch of themed stuff that like relates to it just like brings out the school spirit so more people want to dress,” Student Council President Joaquin Perez said. “That morning were going to hand out lays so everyone will have something themed already ”

Stuco is not the only one working on the pep rally fine arts like band, theater, and drill team are all preparing for the day including Drill Team Director Nicole Nothe.  

“They have been working so very hard and are performing there jazz pep rally kick,” Nothe said. “It is a combo of choreography from crowd pleasers and the officers and please come and support them there very excited to show you their hard work.”
