Stock the pantry for teachers

The PTSA is asking the community for help stocking the pantry for teachers. The pantries are located in the teacher works rooms and range from quick meals to salty snacks.

Moving into the holiday season, the Liberty PTSA is requesting help to “stock the pantry” of the staff workrooms.

At the end of the many hallways on campus, there’s a teacher workroom filled with cabinets.

Some currently still have a few snacks, but many are empty.

That’s where the PTSA comes in as they provide mini meals and snacks for staff.  

“It’s nice, especially if on the way out the door you didn’t have time to grab breakfast or something,” English teacher Robert Wilson said. “It’s really easy to just walk down the hall and go in and grab something they provided for us. We really appreciate all their hard work and for supporting teachers in that way.”

The PTSA asks that all purchases be sent to this address and for donations to be times to not arrive on weekends or holidays.

Christine Han is a senior and this will be her third year on the Wingspan staff. She manages social media for Wingspan and is also a photographer. She will be participating in her 4th year with the CTE Competitive Mock Trial Team. In her free time she likes to work in various women’s rights groups, read books, watch movies, and hang out with her friends. If she’s not too busy, she also likes to bake.
