For the fifth year in a row the Frisco CTE Mock Trial team is heading to states. For the past three years the team has places second and is looking to continue a well-established legacy.
Heritage High School senior Kishen Sargur has been a part of the team since his freshman year and has places second every year. In his final year of mock trial he hopes to go out with a bang.
“I think we’re ready for anything that is thrown at us,” Sargur said. “We have been practicing a lot and scrimmaging other teams, so, hopefully we persist and do well.”
Redhawk senior Christine Han, who has been representing Liberty on the CTE team, has mixed emotions about this years’ state competition.
“It’s starting to hit me that this is my last time doing thins,” Han said. “I’ve been on the team since my freshman year and every year we would do great then come back. We’ve all been working really hard and I think were as ready as we’ll ever be.”
