Student council is bringing back a student-favorite advisory event. 

Today during advisory, student council will be hosting volleyball versus basketball in the main gym for all students to come and watch. The game will be varsity volleyball against varsity boys basketball playing volleyball.

“We’ve done this quite a few times over the past few years,” Student Council president Joaquin Perez said. “It’s a really fun event because it’s different than most. Most of out advisory events you have to participate and be a part of it, but this one’s fun because if you’re not really into that and just like watching, this one’s just perfect.” 

Perez believes this is a unique event all students should check out. 

“What’s fun about it is that you never get to really see this anywhere else,” Perez said. “It’s the boys basketball team versus the girls volleyball team so it’s a fun way to collaborate. If you know people from the basketball team or volleyball team or are looking to meet new people, you can just come and interact.”
