The class of 2025 gets a chance to celebrate their last year of high school with their classmates at prom on Saturday, which is taking place at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Toyota Stadium from 8-11p.m.
“It’s so nice to see students dressed up,” Principal Stacy Whaling said in a previous interview with Wingspan. “Seeing it all come together at the end, and seeing the kids dance have such a good time hanging out with their friends. I mean, just really letting loose.”
From food, to dinner, to the dance, the night has senior Addison LeBlanc looking forward to several things.
“I’m most looking forward to dancing with my boyfriend and friends at the venue and taking pictures together,” LeBlanc said. “[I think prom] is an important night to celebrate yourself and the journey of high school.”
Some students such as senior Ashvita Suresh Kumar like to go to prom for a bit, but then leave and spend time with friends at a different place.
“I’m looking forward to a fun night with my friends,” Kumar said. “[But] I’ll [probably just] be at prom until my prom group and I want to head out and hang out somewhere else.”
